Excellent food as always. The presentation is exceptional and the quality of the food is outstanding. I had the halibut special and it was cooked to perfection.

Steak night! Excellent value, beautiful rump steak (one small issue, efficent and friendly service dealt with promptly) lovely peppercorn sauce & crispy, soft inside chips accompanied by a lovely house red! Beautiful thank you. Part of a 2 day stay - room beautiful and very comfortable with attention paid to customer comfort. 1st night had beautifully tender beef brisket, a red wine gravy and delicious well loved beef fast roasted carrots - sublime! Also a very tasty Goan curry. Starters of lamb scotch egg and baby bang chicken a fabulous beginning to evening. Finally a gorgeously generous full English breakfast is not to be missed. Excellent high tea and service, booked a table in the bay window with a lovely view. Very old house with great character and history.
