Superb as always. Excellent food at a sensible price

One of my favourite places to eat in Stamford- outstanding food and a great overall vibe.

Staff are welcoming we had the carvery plenty of choice both meat and vegetables well worth the money.

Wife’s birthday so it was a good choice of venue. Originally placed on a small table but was then allowed to choose a table of our choice😁. We chose the 12:15 lunchtime slot and were quickly serviced by friendly staff. Choice of al a carte or Eat for Less menus. We chose the a la carte as my wife cannot easily eat normal sized portions. I chose the tempura prawns which were excellent with just the right amount of chilli. My wife chose the chilli squid which was equally as delicious. I chose the beef shin ragu with rigatoni which was superb! Perfect al dente pasta in a light creamy herby sauce. My wife chose a second starter of pork belly bites which she loved. I didn’t manage a pudding and chose a cognac instead to wash the mains down . My wife chose the duck egg custard tart with strawberries which was light and scrumptious! Drinks consisted of Chardonnay for me and French bubbles for my wife! Great Saturday lunch at our favourite venue!!!

Very welcoming with a good range of choices on the menu. Decent value and tasty food.
