We will definitely return, the food was amazing. It was my daughter's 21st birthday, and they made us feel extra special and even brought her a little chocolate dessert to help us celebrate!More infoGordon Ramsay Steak - Horseshoe Lake CharlesPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Lake Charles•4.7

- KkalaHouston •49 reviews4.0Dined on Jan 6, 2025Steaks are always delicious, cooked to order. Generous drinks, crisp salad. Service a bit off tonight, tables not full when we arrived, some confusion on who was waiting on us, requested items (extra butter, needed a new knife) seemed to be forgotten until walking by you again and "Oh hon I'm on my way to get it no." But again, food was delicious and a 6 oz filet with crisp salad and baked potato for $34 is a nice deal!More infoSaltgrass Steakhouse - Lake CharlesPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• Lake Charles•4.4
Discover Lake Charles
Lake Charles, Louisiana, is known for its sulfur mines and its early 1900s-style plantation homes. Cajun food is a popular type of cuisine in this community, and it is as much a culture as a food style. You could try a bowl of jambalaya or a plate of Andouille sausage with steamed rice, gravy and fried okra. There are also several French-themed bakeries in town. You could enjoy freshly made beignets or fruit and cream-filled crepes with cafe au lait or hot tea. Lake Charles is also home to several sandwich shops where po'boy sandwiches are a popular meal for lunchtime. Shrimp po'boys are one of the most beloved local specialties. Give them a try with sides like coleslaw or pickles.
