Had a very enjoyable evening, food was great and atmosphere was brilliant. Definitely will be returning soon.

A lovely lunch in the Bar for eight of us yesterday + dog. Friendly service as always and everyone enjoyed their meal. We live locally and The Crown is our go-to place to eat any day of the week. Highly recommend

Enjoyed the fixed price menu. My meal was definitely better than my husband’s ,as the risotto was a bit bland (too green),I had the sea bass . Will definitely recommend and visit again. But the dessert s were definitely not what was described on the menu. I had the summer fruit tart,which was supposed to have custard under the topping,it was a rather sour lemon curd,which was rather odd,and luckily I asked for a bit of cream,which I later realised that we had been charged extra for,which without I could not have eaten the tart ,as it was so sour. My husband ordered the chocolate cheesecake,it certainly had no chocolate whatsoever,it was just a rather too soft vanilla,with a bit of fruit coulis on top. Rather a shame,as I was looking forward to the dessert,and it was very disappointing

Food was amazing, opted for the set menu, plenty enough for all three of us in our party.

Simply one of the best meals I have tasted. Linguine Marinara, with chilli to your taste. Full of sea food and fish.
