- BBrendavipUtah •21 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 13, 2024This is a quaint little restaurant with authentic Italian food made by "Mamma" herself. Our waiter was genuinely friendly and helpful; and felt like a long-lost friend by the end of the evening. Get the bread basket. The focaccia melted on our tongues even without the delicious butter. And don't miss the whipped brie. Who knew you could whip brie??? We've already made another reservation to go back.More infoMatteo Ristorante ItalianoPrice: Expensive• Italian• Salt Lake City•4.8
Discover Salt Lake City
The Salt Lake City restaurant scene exudes an effortless excellence. Japanese, Italian, Indian, Latin, and contemporary American cuisines are all well-represented and well-received. Many tables in town look out onto mountain views, but that's where the similarities end. Some restaurants are decidedly upscale. Others are Old World. A few feel like your mom's kitchen. If you're a sushi fanatic, then you'll appreciate the torched sablefish nigiri that comes highly recommended by the regulars. If everything on the Italian menus sounds good to you, why deprive yourself? Try it all with a pasta sampler. For a true taste of Salt Lake City, order locally sourced specialties like game hen with green bean tempura.
