Catering for one guests gf meal to serving her just the ginger ice cream without the rest of the dessert! Attention to detail, kind and friendly staff! Weee greeted with alcohol free drink as celebrated two birthdays, and a sweet treat at the end. This time with two friends who live locally but had not been to the pub before. I was again not dissappointed. The best roast in Sussex in my opinion. Excellent value for money. The ambiance lovely in this old pub. The food was amazing. An abundance of freshly cooked vegetables. Lovely crispy roast potatoes with a fluffy interior. Large portion of meat. The service is excellent. Attentive polite staff. Easy to park in large car park and lovely gardens in which we had a pre lunch drink.
