The AAA Four-Diamond Republic of Texas Bar & Grill is one of Corpus Christi's top dining destinations. Located on the 20th floor of the Bayfront Tower, this multi-level restaurant offers diners beautiful panoramic views of the Corpus Christi bay. Featuring USDA prime beef cuts, a wide variety of wild game and seafood selections. We acquired the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for having one of the most outstanding restaurant wine lists in the world in the past four years. We were able to enjoy a cocktail at the bar before dinner. Our drinks were excellent. We enjoyed the Chateaubriand for 2 which was cooked perfectly. The service was very good and friendly. Noise level is high due to the open floor levels, but we enjoyed all the nooks and cranies for a different vibe. There was live piano music also in the bar area.

Sat at the bar for a bit at first. Bartenders attentive & fun! Requested Nik as our waiter & enjoyed another spectacular meal! Items included crab fondue, five-star pepper loin, & shrimp republic.

By far the best high end restaurant in Corpus Christi. I seriously can’t think of anything that was even the slightest negative. An absolutely wonderful experience.

Phenomenal food and experience. Brussels sprouts aren’t normally my go to but how they cooked them made me like them again. The lobster bisque is always perfection and they’re not sparing on the meat. When we asked for a palette cleanser before the main, the chef made a perfect blueberry sorbet on the spot for us. Love this place for a celebration. Can’t wait to go again.

Great evening, I brought my husband for the first time on my work trip and he enjoyed every minute of the evening! Bartenders were EXCELLENT AND BRITTANY OUR SERVER WAS AMAZING. She remembered me from previous visits and is attentive and engaging. Thanks so much!!!

We went to the restaurant for my wife's Birthday dinner. The steaks were great, she had a filet mignon, I had the 12oz rib eye. She said it was the best she has ever had (she's had a lot of them :-) ). The rib eye was very good as well, cooked perfectly. The veggies were good, the mac & cheese was awesome. Robert and Chris took very good care of us and the evening was wonderful. The city and bay views were nice and helped to make the evening a wonderful experience.
