Very good food selection, we had seabass - excellent taste. We also had chocolate dessert - excellent taste and very decorative. Coffee was delicious. Cobb salad was good. Service was good. Ambiance good. A little pricey.

Service was on the slow side - excessive wait between appetizer and entrée - but otherwise a very nice experience.

The cobb salad is the best! It has interesting flavors from fruit to nuts. The dressing is the best ever.

A group of writers in the same group for twenty years, came to celebrate several birthdays. We requested a round table by the window and, glory be, we had it. Our server Arwen added to the festivities with her kindness, thoughtfulness, ease at serving a big group; she was also fun and, in the best way, real. The drinks - alcoholic and non - were delicious. What did we order? Tasty chef salads, finely chopped, included an excellent blue cheese, real crumbly bacon and morsels of perfectly tart apples. (Champagne dressing added brightness.) Lovely warm rolls, then for the table: ice creams and sherbets and a yummy chocolate concoction w three variations of sweetness and density. The room is spacious, luminous and has one of the best views in LA. Tables at a good distance. A pleasure for us ! Thank you. (Wish they validated parking; it’s $ 25…probably more worth it if you’re also visiting the Museum.) We look forward to coming again.

Whenever we're in L.A., lunch at The Getty Restaurant is a must. The service is always impeccable, the menu inventive and thoughtful, plus healthy. The wine list is perfect, as is the ambience. Don't miss Getty Center, and when you go please to the the Restaurant as a perfect way to start your visit.
