Very polite and professional staff. The place was so beautiful . However, the food was not fresh at all. I ordered lamb shank! It was horrible! Very disappointing!

We had a good time at Akbar Joojeh, were you can see the food combine with Iranian culture. The staff were friendly and welcoming although it was busy their food and management was terrific

I’ve been to this location several times with my spouse and the food has been exceptional for the value. My spouse, who is Persian said this restaurant is one of the finest in Vancouver for Persian food. This time I was disappointed with the service. The servers must seem more interested in chatting in the kitchen with each other, then actually serving the customers. It’s not good when you need to chase down a server and then they give you attitude that you had to look for them.

I recently dined at Akbarjoojeh 19th, and was thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The food was exceptional, full of flavor and beautifully presented. Highly recommend this place for a great meal in a comfortable setting. I’ll definitely be back!

Heard good reviews about Akbar Joojeh before, but first time went there. There was a long lineup outside the restaurant waiting for tables, luckily we made reservations and were seated immediately. Service was good, quality and quantity of food are awesome. As it was New Year's day, they played some upbeat music occasionally during our dinner, which makes the ambience lively and joyous. Overall we had a great time and will come back again.
