Based on recipes passed down from mother to son, the brothers Efran and Joseph Boglio moved to Chicago where they opened Giordano’s in Glen Ellyn, named after their Mama Giordano, whose famous pizza recipe was to make them famous. Since 1973, Giordano’s in Glen Ellyn has been serving up some of the most highly acclaimed deep dish pizza in the nation. It is routinely highlighted by media as a classic of Chicago cuisine. The Giordano’s in Glen Ellyn menu is not just deep dish pizza though; there are plenty of appetizers, salads and even, yes, thin crust pizza on offer. But of course the big attraction is the stuffed deep dish and it’s worth it. Build your own or order one of the house specialties, like the Chicago classic or super veggie.
