    As always, our dining/happy hour experience was outstanding. The Assistant Manager and his staff provided their usual welcoming howdy to us and made us feel so welcome. Ambiance was great. Everyone seemed to be enjoying a relaxing/enjoyable environment. Service was exemplary. We couldn’t be more pleased!

    The hostesses were very kind and placed us in a booth, my daughter has social anxiety and she enjoys eating out but gets anxious around a lot of people.

    Super, I mean freezing cold in the bar area. Had to move seats to get warmer. everything else was great but the temperature in that room was absolutely unmanageable. I’m so glad I wore my fur coat and I had a scarf and I never like to eat when I’m freezing.

    There were four of us for dinner. We had the lamb fondue and stuffed jalapenos for the appetizers, then pork chop, duck, salmon and pork loin, followed by brownie, apple crisp and creme brulee. The duck was the least exciting but was ok for what it was. I had a non alcohol old fashioned which was great to have on the menu although pricey for no alcohol. They charged the same price as one with alcohol which seemed a bit steep On the reservation I had indicated that we were celebrating two college acceptances and they had written a card signed by the staff and wrote congratulations on the dessert plates which was a nice touch..Overall the meal was good and will continue to use this as our go to for celebratory meals.

    We make a point of eating here anytime we’re in Austin. We’ve eaten at every good steak place in Austin and we just keep ending back here. Love it!

    My husband and I just went there for our anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed it! They made it so special by putting us in a great booth with a card on the table signed by all the staff members. The waiter was very courteous and on point and the manager came by to wish us a happy anniversary. The food was incredible, very scrumptious, and good size portions. They even wrote Happy Anniversary on our dessert plate, which was a nice touch. The ambiance was low lit and a romantic setting. We would definitely recommend for a date night and plan on going back often!
