    Super, I mean freezing cold in the bar area. Had to move seats to get warmer. everything else was great but the temperature in that room was absolutely unmanageable. I’m so glad I wore my fur coat and I had a scarf and I never like to eat when I’m freezing.

    There were four of us for dinner. We had the lamb fondue and stuffed jalapenos for the appetizers, then pork chop, duck, salmon and pork loin, followed by brownie, apple crisp and creme brulee. The duck was the least exciting but was ok for what it was. I had a non alcohol old fashioned which was great to have on the menu although pricey for no alcohol. They charged the same price as one with alcohol which seemed a bit steep On the reservation I had indicated that we were celebrating two college acceptances and they had written a card signed by the staff and wrote congratulations on the dessert plates which was a nice touch..Overall the meal was good and will continue to use this as our go to for celebratory meals.

    We make a point of eating here anytime we’re in Austin. We’ve eaten at every good steak place in Austin and we just keep ending back here. Love it!

    My husband and I just went there for our anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed it! They made it so special by putting us in a great booth with a card on the table signed by all the staff members. The waiter was very courteous and on point and the manager came by to wish us a happy anniversary. The food was incredible, very scrumptious, and good size portions. They even wrote Happy Anniversary on our dessert plate, which was a nice touch. The ambiance was low lit and a romantic setting. We would definitely recommend for a date night and plan on going back often!

    Everything we ordered was delicious: Chilean sea bass; shrimp with grits; bacon wrapped jalapenos (not too spicy but very tasty). Service was attentive but not overbearing.

    Roaring Fork is hands-down our favorite spot for steak. The food is always incredible, and the service is just as good—attentive without being over the top. We’ve been coming here for years, and it never disappoints. Whether it’s a special night or just a treat-yourself kind of dinner, it’s the place we always think of first.

    Service was moderate, asked for things, server did not come or check in during dining, trout dry and flavorless, tuna tasteless and overly fishy, corn bread over cooked, grits great, tortilla soup bowl superb...very cold by windows.
