About ROKA

The name ROKA carries great meaning - ROKA is a meeting place where food and drinks are shared with friends (ro) and heat, warmth and an all-embracing energy surround (ka). The principle cuisine is from the robata grill, which originates from the fishermen of the northern coastal waters off japan, who would cook the fish on the boats with different charcoals and share the bounty with one another using their oars.

ROKA charlotte street opened in 2004, ROKA canary wharf in 2009, ROKA mayfair in february 2014 and ROKA aldwych in october 2014.

Kindly note that our set brunch menu is served throughout lunchtime on Saturdays and all day on Sundays – a la carte menu is not available during this time. Menus may vary according to date, time and location, please check menus prior to booking.

Join us on weekdays and enjoy our pre & post-theatre set menus. Choose from the Classic menu for £38 per person or Premium menu for £48 per person. Both menus consist of a glass of bubbles on arrival, three courses and feature a selection of first course dishes designed to share, followed by a choice of main and dessert. Available Tuesday-Friday from 5.00-10.00pm (not available on Bank Holidays)

Thank you!! - I booked for friends, who had never visited before - We had an unforgettable dining experience with wonderful suport with menu choices. We started with beautifully presented Sushi and Sashimai followed by a wonderful selection from the Robata. Overall: A truly warm and inviting experience, delivered by an attentive and knowlegeable team-Highlighy recommended!!

It’s always a pleasure to dine at Roka Aldwych. This occasion was exceptional special as my dear friend just got engaged. The food, atmosphere and staff were brilliant. The only reason why I marked down the food is because the portion size for the sushi rolls we ordered was very small and not the same quality as usual. That was disappointing. Everything else was great.

Service was not great- not very attentive; once we ordered and food delivered, the staff disappeared. Canary Wharf location much better experience.
