The food at Roy’s was great. However the service was spotty. My martini was ordered “very dirty”, but was delivered without olive brine. I asked to add it, and was told that they would be happy to do so, but I did not get it until the entree arrived. We sat down to dirty knives. I had to ask the water service person for iced tea because we had not seen the server for several minutes. Had I seen the server earlier, we would have enjoyed ordering wine, but by then been were ordering dessert. All minor things, but you expect more from a restaurant where you are paying well over $150/person.

It’s the Christmas holiday. Lots of parties which probably accounted for the noise and slower service. Even so, love this restaurant!

Good food. Very, very slow service for a 5pm reservation. We didn’t make it out until 8pm even with rushing the waiter.

Booked and sat down. After waiting 40 minutes for our food we were told we had to wait further 40 minutes. For the absurd prices they charge, this is really ridiculous. We left w/o eating

The menu was limited compared to the online version “adapted for the conference”. The food, hot soup and hot entree, all arrived together. It was rather good, but portions were very small. The cocktail never came and we had to ask for it after 10min. We had no knives and had to ask for one. It was never brought to us, so after 10min we just got up to take one from another unoccupied table. The noise level is very high and it is difficult to have business meetings.

We waited 1.5 hours for our lunch and most of us ordered wedge salads. I understand that may have been because of staffing issues or other things out of our server’s control, but no one apologized or acknowledged the wait. Half of our party left before their food even got there because of the timing. I wouldn’t recommend a business lunch when you have a timeline and other events planned that day.

We had a reservation at 12:15pm, and ordered several appetizers for our meal shortly thereafter. As of 2pm when I had to leave, we still hadn’t received our food. A complete mess.
