   Food and service was exceptional but the dining area was a bit warm and the background music a bit loud. Otherwise we had a wonderful dining experience.

   Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse in Austin provided an excellent dining experience. They were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to make the evening special. My mother was celebrating her birthday, and the staff treated her wonderfully, making her feel truly celebrated. The food was terrific. The steak was cooked perfectly to order, and every bite was delicious. While the lobster tails were a bit on the smaller side, they were still flavorful and well-prepared. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we will definitely return for another memorable meal.

   Our dinner at Ruth’s Chris was fantastic. The dining room was stunning…recently updated? Our drinks and appetizers were delicious and were delivered right on time. The steaks and sides were perfectly prepared and served sizzlingly hot! Our server was very attentive. All in all a very nice experience.

   It was amazing. Just like I remember. Very nice young man server. I forgot his name but wonderful. The kiddo loved it.

   We've been to Ruth's Chris many, many times, primarily in other states, and have always enjoyed the food. This time, in downtown Austin, 4 out of 4 of us agreed that the food wasn't good. To be more blunt, all 4 steaks were bad and lacking in flavor. The plates were not delivered hot as they typically are delivered and lacked the typical butter. 4 out of 4 steaks were drastically undercooked. 4 out of 4 lacked flavor and 3 out of 4 were somehow dry even though undercooked. The atmosphere feels rundown and dirty. I watched an employee use the restroom and then exit without washing his hands. I never saw him on the floor, so I assume he worked somewhere in the kitchen. We bragged about this place and were embarrassed we brought our guests here. The waiter and manager were nice and voluntarily comped one of the steaks, but even so, it didn’t make up for the poor experience and it will be a long time before we return to Ruth's Chris, if ever. It was bad enough that I feel compelled to warn others about this location.

   Our evening at Ruth's Chris was absolutely exceptional, largely thanks to our outstanding server, Adrianna. From the moment we were seated, she demonstrated an impressive knowledge of both the menu and wine list, offering thoughtful recommendations that perfectly matched our preferences. The spicy shrimp was amazing as usual. We ordered the ribeye cooked medium-well and it arrived precisely as requested on the signature 500-degree plate, sizzling with butter and perfectly seasoned. The creamed spinach sides was decadent and generously portioned. What truly set this experience apart was Adrianna's impeccable timing and attention to detail. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask, kept our wine glasses filled at just the right moments, and made excellent suggestions for dessert - the bread pudding with whiskey sauce was heavenly. Despite the restaurant being busy, Adrianna made us feel like we were her only table. Her warm personality and professional demeanor enhanced our entire dining experience. This kind of superior service, combined with Ruth's Chris's consistently excellent food quality, makes this location a standout for special occasions or any time you're craving a perfect steak. The elegant atmosphere, exceptional food, and Adrianna's outstanding service made for a memorable evening that exceeded our expectations. We also let the manager know what a great experience we had , far better than previous visits.

    This is a steak cooked under a broiler basically. I prefer wood / charcoal grilled. Good basic season. Lobster was very slightly under cooked. Brussels sprouts could have had more seasonings. Mixed drinks were on point. Nice service. The “bread girl” ( this is what she called herself) was great and funny.
