   The waiter added an additional item to our bill. He brought out our check which was said amount, when he returned to our table with the credit card machine - he returned with a higher amount. When we asked to see the check, he presented us with a different check in which he added an additional side dish. So disappointing with it being our anniversary. That this waiter would add charges to our bill. Nevertheless, I reported him and they have to go through a huge process to return my money. No tip for him, but a tip for guest going there, watch your bill. Very shady place

   We have been to multiple Ruth's Chris locations and always appreciate the quality of food and impeccable service each and every time. This time, we went to the San Antonio location at the Grand Hyatt. The decorated the table for my husband's birthday, had genuine conversation with us, and made a meal feel like an experience. Everything was excellent.

   Great service from out waiter and assistant. Timing from the kitchen was not the best. We had a pretty long wait between appetizer/salads and the main course. Two in our party ordered the Ruth’s Special and the filet was a little over cooked and tough. The other filets we ordered (2x petite and one regular sized) were cooked perfect.

   The steak was burnt and overdone 2/2 times and we just gave up and choked it down; side note it was also grass fed with no fat and tasted just like sirloin. The sides were decent but not of value. The bread, drinks and dessert were great. The server and management both get 9/10; great promptness but you can see from the first cut of its overdone. I will be back but will definitely ask more questions about the steak being served.

   We were beyond impressed! We were in San Antonio on vacation and decided to visit Ruth Chris. Everything was excellent from the get go. No waiting time... the service was exceptional. Food was delicious. Just perfect from start to finish.

   We really enjoyed our previous experiences at the Jones Maltzberger location so we wanted to try the RiverWalk. While the bar area looks lovely, we did not enjoy our experience in the dining room. It felt very much like service and experience were on par with the other tourist traps on the RiverWalk. The manager walked around and greeted many tables, but skipped ours, so we didn't have a chance to share our experience. We waited an incredibly long time for our waiter on two occasions, including when we needed our check. We received the wrong side dish initially and we found the quality of food not to be as good as the other location (although our steaks were just fine and our daughter loved her child's plate). I was also really impressed with the care the JM location took to including our young daughter - the waiter there was so kind to her and she received an activity book there (a small thing that makes a huge difference!). We chose to spend quite a bit of money to celebrate our Mother's Day holiday and I really wish we would have gone with the Jones Maltzberger spot - even though it is in a corporate park, our experience was FAR better than the River Walk location.

    Michael was absolutely fantastic. He deserves 500 stars. Service was impeccable and food was amazing. The entire staff was kind and attentive.
