    I ordered a dish that included shrimp, but the server did not inform me that the shrimp was out of stock and instead changed it to a crab cake without consulting me. Since this was a vacation to celebrate a special anniversary, I didn’t want to spoil the mood and said it was fine, but I am very upset that I didn’t receive the proper notification about the change and was given a dish I didn’t order. What makes me even more frustrated is that I now feel obligated to tip the server, despite their rude behavior. I hope basic standards are followed so that I can feel good about giving a tip.

    The steak I ordered was Medium Well but over cooked and the server barely showed up to our table or 3 times during the entire 2 hours we were there. Honestly not what I expected at Ruth’s Chris in terms of food and service.

    Service was great but the porterhouse I had was a little under seasoned. It took over an hour to get our food but our waiter was very nice. It may have been because it was so busy on Thanksgiving evening.

    We came on Thanksgiving day and it was great! I was able to have a full Thanksgiving dinner while my husband was able to enjoy his favorite steak on the island. Huge kudos to Diane, the hostess- it was nonstop crazy and she handled it beautifully. Great meal, great service .
