Located between the Delaware River and Canal in Bucks County, the Golden Pheasant Inn offers fine dining and luxurious accommodations in a truly picturesque setting. We are only one hour and thirty minutes from New York City or Philadelphia, and only 25 minutes north of New Hope, PA.
The Inn had previously been family-owned and operated for over 30 years by the Faure family. Jack Thompson, of the Thompson Organization and the Black Bass Hotel, purchased the Golden Pheasant in July of 2019 and plans to reopen in the new year. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Golden Pheasant Inn!

Freshest sushi ever! This is a small, quaint restaurant where all tables sit upstairs in the building. There are 4-6 stools at the sushi bar downstairs with a restroom on both floors. The sushi was off the charts incredible and our waitress was super friendly and attentive. I commented to my husband about how great she was and to leave her an extra special tip. Will be recommending this restaurant to anyone I know that will be hosting New Hope. It’s a BYOB and for two of us, on Christmas Eve our total was $118 plus tip. It is small and gets crowded so be sure to make a reservation.

The Ghost Light Inn’s restaurant, Stella, is inspired by local ingredients from the region’s best farmers and artisans. The restaurant offers 100 seats with indoor and outdoor tables, and private dining spaces for events and gatherings. The outdoor patio displays sweeping views of the Delaware River. The main dining room offers a mix of freestanding tables and booths. During the winter months, reservations for outdoor tables are not available. However, you are more than welcome to make a note in your reservation that you would like to sit outside. The patio is heated.
Parking in New Hope can be hard to come by. The parking lot located in front of Stella is owned and operated by the Bucks County Playhouse. Stella cannot validate parking. When valet is present the cost to park is $30. When valet is not available, spaces are metered and paid for via the ParkMobile app. 100% of all parking proceeds directly benefits the betterment of the Bucks County Playhouse.

Pre theater lunch was excellent. It was very busy so a tad noisier than regularly, but staff did everything right in providing good space between large groups when possible. This is a beautiful spot on the river and so close to BCPH.

Located on the river side of the Buck County Playhouse, we cater to both theatergoers and those just in search of a great meal. Expect all-new seasonal menus showcasing the best of Mediterranean cuisine. The bar program is seasonally inspired with lots of fresh fruit and herb components that will complement the cuisine. The cuisine is Mediterranean and Italian inspired, as are the wines. The beer program will have plenty of options for local craft breweries in addition to bigger names and some imports as well.

Villa Barolo Ristorante and Wine Bar features creative Italian-inspired dishes using the fresh seafood and game meats. It offers at least four different organic specialties a day. Try its pan seared foie gras with grilled Portobello mushrooms and Belgium endive, its pheasant breast that is lightly seasoned and pan roasted and served with roasted chipollini and mushrooms, or a combination of caribou and lamb chops marinated with fresh garlic and rosemary drizzled with a honey rosemary demi-glaze. Other organic game meats served are antelope, elk, ostrich, kangaroo and wild boar. Villa Barolo Ristorante and Wine Bar has a full-service bar with its signature creations as well as traditional cocktails.
