This place has been a gem for the better part of 3 decades. Chef's have come and gone but it stays consistently great. Great food, outstanding service and the best wine list to value that you can find in the whole city. We had not been in a while and during dinner we had to ask ourselves why. Try it, you'll love it.

Named after La Jolla’s popular Open Aire Farmer’s Market, Bistro du Marché allows chef Diot to work closely with farmers to incorporate the finest local flavors into his dishes. Led by Cheffe Amélie Gadoum, Bistro du Marché incorporates quality ingredients and rigorous French technique. Signature dish includes Wild Mushroom Ravioli in Port wine Sauce. One of the specialties: Un Coq au Vin "Ivre de Bourgogne" Organic Chicken Braised in Red Wine Sauce, Yukon Gold Mashed Potato, Carrot, Mushrooms.

Bistro du Marché is based on the culinary concept of “bistronomie”, that emerged in Paris. Bistronomie, is a play on words on the concepts of “bistro” and “gastronomie”. It is a form of French cuisine that emphasizes the blending of haute gastronomic expertise, seasonality, and the traditional “cuisine de terroir” found in bistros across France. The youthfulness of the bistronomie movement has succeeded in reinvigorating French classic cuisine, and raised the bar of traditional French bistros.

This place is a total Vibe. Classy and Cool. The food was so delicious. Every plate that came out was more amazing than the next. We had some tapas , Pan con Tomate (bread and tomato) came with ham on the side as well. We also had Garlic Shrimp, Mussels a Butternut soup. Simply delicious and wonderful quality. To top off this experience, then there’s the beautiful, nice, friendly people that make the Magic Happen there. So happy we found this little gem. 💎

Le Bone Table is always one of our favorite restaurants! The cozy atmosphere great for special friends gathering. The food, whatever selected is delicious. The service always at fine dining level. If you want the best duck or pork chop in San Diego, this is where to find both. All antes are very good!

Et Voila. C'est magnifique!... love it ... it is great French food done in the classic techniques... not something you find in every dining place in SD. Let me say... I am a big Foodie... and this place does it right. Enjoy the Steak Frites, or the Onion Soup, or the Canard... all good. And Ludo is an amazing owner / Maitre'D Love this place... We dined at this charming French restaurant and had a pleasant experience overall. The food was good, though not quite a 10/10. We loved the persimmons salad and the steak as meal—both were highlights of the meal. The fish, however, wasn’t our favorite as it leaned a bit too fishy for our taste. Service was attentive and friendly, and the outdoor seating was cute and inviting. A lovely spot for a relaxed evening!
