The walls are decorated with paintings gathered from different parts of Europe. Antique lamps are hung from the ceilings to add a rustic appeal. Arrivederci specializes in preparing all dishes with authentic Italian recipes and ingredients. Grigliata vegetariana is prepared with a variety of assorted grilled vegetables. Rigatoni amatriciana is prepared with tabular pasta soaked in rich sauce, prepared with tomatoes and romano cheese. Italian bacon topping enhances the flavor. This is a very nice small restaurant with a great selection of meals. Each of us chose a different meal (4 in all) and were very happy with our selections. The wine list was great and the server helped us chose a wine that exceeded our expectations. All in all, a great experience. We'll be back.

We received fantastic service from Alberto, which made for a wonderful Valentine’s Day date night with their prix fixe menu. The dishes served extremely well with their suggested wine pairings. The ventilation for the restaurant has improved dramatically in the last couple years, resulting in a much more pleasant indoor dining experience. Amazing hole-in-the-wall spot in East Village that should not be overlooked.

Waiters were very attentive. Food was delicious. Restaurant was quiet but had many customers even though it was early (5:30). All restaurants are expensive and an expensive meat market and an expensive fish market are around the corner.

Service was very very good. We had the mussels and clam app and it was excellent. There were so many we thought if we came back we could have a salad and the app. I had the ragu and it was fantastic. Everything here is homemade, do not skip this!

All the wait staff was incredible. The food was excellent. What really made our night was the elderly man at the piano. He was so entertaining and just such a sweet guy. We would go again just to enjoy the ambience of his piano playing and his friendly personality.

Great food. The service was excellent. They even surprised our table with a free bread pudding dessert, which was delicious! I will return next time I'm in San Diego!

Benvenuti Nella Mia Cucina, Belli De Nonna! Before we dive into the delicious feast prepared for you, let me give you a little taste of my vita. I was born in the heart of Rome, and I've been cooking up a storm my entire life! My cucina has always been the center of the universe for my 3 daughters, 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, their friends, loved ones, and acquaintances – everyone was always Benvenuto!

Now, we've brought that same love and flavor right here to San Diego. My beloved grandson, Niccolo', and his amore, Cesarina, are opening the doors of my Cucina with the same warm heart and passion.

Wondering how I made it to 95? Well, it's simple: I ate everything that's served here and filled my life with amore! So, Benvenuti! Don't hesitate to indulge in "Scarpetta" - dip that bread into the sauce, just like my grandchildren used to do at the stove when they thought I wasn't looking.

Our food & service was amazing! We love this restaurant. The rigatoni is my favorite. We got the carpaccio and charcuterie board for appetizers and they are a good size! Perfect date night location.
