Paula's on Main, in Fort Wayne, is a contemporary and elegant restaurant serving fresh seafood with delectable preparations in its casual and relaxing eatery. The boursin cheese medallion with crostini and raspberry chipotle sauce and the beer-steamed and seasoned peel-n-eat shrimp with cocktail sauce make tantalizing starter options. Some of Paula's on Main's specialty entrée dishes include the crab-stuffed whitefish with dill-caper hollandaise, the Thai tilapia in a crispy sesame crust with a Thai-spiced tartar sauce, the Alaskan king crab legs with drawn butter and the blackened salmon topped with a bleu cheese glaze, all made even better paired with wine. Handhelds like the Baja fish tacos and tilapia fish sandwich with jalapeno tartar make great casual options. Not in the mood for seafood? Paula's on Main also has plenty of dishes for landlubbers, such as the tournedoes Louis Armstrong filet medallions and the orange almond chicken.

About the restaurant
Shorty's Steakhouse is a unique dining experience. Established more than 20 years ago, along the historic Randolph Street in downtown Garrett, Indiana. Shorty's Executive Head Chef James Morrow has created & curated our menu over 10 years, carefully straddling the line of fine steakhouse dining, with small-town Indiana fare.

We are located in Garrett, Indiana, 10 minutes from the historic Auburn downtown and the ACD museum. Also, 20 minutes north of Fort Wayne, Indiana, 15 minutes from Kendallville, Indiana and 25 minutes south of Angola, Indiana. We love that we bring all these communities together at Shorty's.

Shorty's is proud to offer bar seating, family room seating and an outdoor patio we completed last year.
We are laid-back and believe our guests' enjoy the incredible service & food without having to "dress-up".
We embrace the great and growing community of Garrett, Indiana and love that we can share amazing cuisine in an unexpected location.

See you soon!

Seated quickly. High top not our favorite. Server was excellent. Food good. Two of us had Caesar salad. Not enough dressing. Asiago grits were great. Pork ribeye was flavored wonderfully. Overall very good. Center was a bit underdone and somewhat fatty. Steak salad was great. Carrot cake to share was very small. Overall an excellent experience.

Roanoke
About the restaurant
Located in Roanoke, a charming, historic rural community in northeast Indiana (15 minutes from Ft. Wayne, 1.5 hours north of Indianapolis and 3 hours east of Chicago), Joseph Decuis is the showcase for local farm raised food, and is a gourmet experience to remember. Our menu features seasonal dishes with ingredients raised on our farm (and other like minded farms), creatively and artfully prepared by our Chefs. The heart of the restaurant is housed in an old bank building (the vaults are now wine cellars) where you’ll feel as though you’ve stepped back in time to a simpler way of life where time around the table meant something. You’ll enjoy a top-quality meal in quiet, comfortable surroundings with outstanding hospitality.

What an incredible evening here. I made the reservation for a celebration and was able to coordinate a toast upon arrival. The food was very good and Rochelle was wonderful to help navigate the wine list and dinner. She even showed us around the restaurant which was very interesting and appreciated. Thank you!

The steak rolls were the highlight. Extremely delicious. The steak was okay. The Diane sauce wasn't either of our favorite thing. Mashed potatoes and asparagus were very good.
