My dad and I came here for lunch and we pleasantly surprised with how beautiful the restaurant is! The food was so yummy. For lunch the steak sandwich is AMAZING! The meat is so tender and it is very filling. The prosciutto and bruschetta lunch item was also very good but I would say go with the steak sandwich if you want something even more filling. We would definitely come again for the great food, service, and beautiful ambiance.

Great food and service! They need to do more so that people know it’s there, as it looks completely dark from outside. We ordered too much and it was all delicious. Simona was our waitress and was terrific! I live walking distance and it was my first time there, but won’t be my last. The happy hour is a great value!

Food is great, service is great, however, depending on who your server is, the experience can range from condescending to extremely pleasant. The place is full of sugar daddies and sugar babies. As a bonus, you might run into Adam Sandler sitting there in his hoodie and basketball shorts, which gives the place a reality check. Overall, highly recommend it.

So the combination of these two Japanese characters are a different expression of cooking with a knife and fire. Kappo is a dish that is improvised by the customer's order and can be enjoyed at the counter or at the table just in front of the kitchen without much formality. From now on, Kappo will be held in Miyabi restaurant, Santa Monica. Miyabi (雅) is one of the traditional Japanese aesthetic ideals, meaning "elegance," "graceful" and "courtliness". There are a lot of complexities of Japanese cuisine, including not only food, but also visitors, music, and order of food. So, there is a burden because of the needlessly cumbersome, expensive, and unnecessary formalities, and we focus on foods that are only used to show off the cooking skills of the chefs and customers.
