meaty and creative menu in a laid-back setting. Our skilled and
passionate chefs do it all, whether it’s curing, salting, boning, stuffing,
wrapping, charring, braising, or just leaving the meat raw.
Above all, we love to prepare food that pushes boundaries and pulls you outside of your comfort zone — just a little bit. We get tremendous joy out of food and offer items that you are unlikely to find another local restaurants. At Caribou the surroundings are comfortable and the focus is contemporary cuisine of exceptional quality. Signature dishes created by our Chef include certified Angus tenderloin, cedar plank salmon, black and blue ahi tuna and wood oven pizzas. Our desserts are prepared in-house by our pastry chef. We feature an extensive wine list with numerous vintage wines as well as over 30 wines by the glass.
Caribou Restaurant + Wine Bar opened in November of 1999. The menu has been developed over many years of visiting restaurants all over North America and the world. Options represent Italian, Asian, Cuban or any other styles of new and exciting cuisine.
Caribou has been listed in "Where to Eat in Canada" for several years running and the wine list has earned the "Wine Spectator Award of Excellence" every year since 2002.

What a wonderful evening and dinner at Caribou! Our server Ewan was very attentive and kind but not over the top, checking in with us often while letting us enjoy our meals! Our food was delightful - the tuna tataki was tasty as always and the special of Pomegranate Salmon was absolutely delicious.

I love eating at Clay and at the end of our meal I said to my lunch guest, 'This is my favourite place to have lunch in Toronto!' The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming and always treat us like family. We had a wonderful window table and looking across at the ROM is special. The room is bright and airy and the noise level moderate making it easy to have great conversation. The food was really delicious and creative and I look forward to my next visit in January.

We love George! proposed to come back every year on the date that I propose to my wife. We’ve been doing this for 11 years now. Not only is the food great, and the sommelier-based wine pairings are phenomenal, it’s also the little things like them remembering exactly where we sit, and they give us the same booth every time without even asking. I can’t say enough good things about the staff, the food, the ambience. It’s definitely Worth to go for a special occasion!
