Took my elderly mother here for lunch. Requested and waited for a table with ambiance. Food was excellent and very reasonable. Fried calamari, veal marsale, ravioli with veal and a tomato cream sauce, and a special squash ravioli. All very tasty, served hot and very well priced. The dining room is lovely and sophisticated, a rarity nowadays. No one in jeans or baseball hats. Our waiter was lovely

We went on a quieter night to the restaurant. The food was great but the service was subpar. When we walked in no one was manning the host stand, we stood there for 7 minutes as servers passed by but no one came to greet until my partner went to the bar to ask the bartender if we could receive some service. Only after the bartender went to fetch someone did a host appear from the back of the restaurant to seat us. We were seated in a section that was completely empty away from where everyone else was seated- I'm not sure if that was on purpose or not but it felt isolating when there were open tables in the other section. Our waitress also took a while to greet us at our table with water. Overall we were expecting faster service for how busy the restaurant was at the time, especially since we've been there before and received exceptional service.

I always take my clients here for lunches. Food is outstanding and fairly priced. Servers are all Italian which creates an authentic Italian experience. Highly recommend this place!

Mele rivals all top rated restaurants. Small plate of trout and asparagus featured perfectly cooked items with delicious, delicate, savory, light and creamy sauce with ginger on the side. My husband’s steak was superb and our first-time-at-Mele guests were delighted with their four cheese ravioli, with special kudos to the spinach on top. Carlos is a lovely, skilled waiter, our long time favorite. Mele wins the prize.

Visit a la Lucia soon. They'll be closing at the end of the year. Wonderful food, pleasant ambiance, great service. Sad to lose them in the North Old Town neighborhood!

Beautiful, cozy restaurant right by Signature Theater. The staff was incredibly attentive and the food delicious. Our server, Wendy, was lovely. The owner was circulating around noting every detail, and he came by to greet our family as well. The noise level was totally fine too, which is such a great surprise these days when so many restaurants have blaring music and concrete ceilings. I would highly recommend this place.

We had a phenomenal meal at Mia’s during the Christmas season. Kicked it off with the giant meatball, which my kids said was the “BEST EVER” (I’ll stop crying next year), and followed it with a great round of entrees including the branzino, chicken piccata and kids meals. Cocktails and dessert were also delicious. Staff were attentive, warm and prompt. Great spot with great decor for your night out in Old Town. Will be back!
