Located in the bustling Stamford Square in Ashton-under Lyme, this popular pizzeria is part of the successful San Rocco Italian restaurant chain. The dining room – with wooden floors, leather Chesterfield lounges and potted plants - has a sunny, relaxed vibe suitable for stylish, chilled-out meals with friends and family, and is always busy with a lively local crowd. Favourite dishes at San Rocco include the Pizza Calabrese with spicy salami; the Anatra Arrosta – a crispy roasted half duck with chilli and honey; and the Penne Marinara with prawns, fresh mussels, garlic and cherry tomatoes.     San Rocco is a lovely restaurant. All of the staff make you feel very welcome and the food is excellent. It is also great value for money. We keep going back and we have tried a lot of items on the menu, we have never has a bad experience. The steak is superb!

    Lovely food and was very attentive when I mentioned I was gluten free and they accommodated me with a lovely seafood dish.

    Such a nice looking restaurant shame it was almost empty. Had to wait ages for the food and when my pizza arrived it tasted as if the base had been bought in. It looked and felt like cardboard and had a real taste and look of "I've just been warmed up"

    We went to San rocco on saturday 21st July 2012. The staff were fabulous, we were a group of 21 and received great service we highly recommend the restaurant especially the lobster Thermidor. :)

    A very good restaurant, me and my Girlfriend ate for under £40, and were stuffed. San Rocco didn't blow me away, but it is great value for money. 7/10
