   An iconic place to visit when seeing a show. The service is excellent from start to finish. The atmosphere has a classic vibe. The menu isn’t large but variety is good. We had the beef bolognese and salmon. There are plenty of places to eat in this area but I recommended eating here just for the experience.

   My waiter John was exceptional. He was attentive, but not intrusive. The bus boy was as polite and accommodating. A great experience

   Perfect pre-theater dining experience! From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for a fabulous lunch. The maitre d warmly greeted us and we were quickly escorted to our lovely, quiet table. Our water glasses were instantly filled and bread & butter was served. We all ordered salads, the cobb and chopped which were very generous and fresh. Although we didn’t need dessert, we couldn’t pass up trying the warm granny apple crumb with vanilla ice cream. If you love theater and dining among the most famous star caricatures and wonderful service, then you’ll love Sardi’s!

   It was a magical evening. We chose traditional cannelloni and spinach cannelloni and they were delicious. The portions were generous and the meals rich and flavorful. A wonderful after theater meal.

   Food is OK, large portions that fills you prior to theatre events as restautrant is usrrounded by shows and easy tp get reservation and to shoe on time.

   Finally made it to this iconic New York restaurant. It was bustling with pre-theater diners, so I'm glad I made a reservation. I appreciated that the menu had choices for every budget. Staying in a hotel, and going across the street for a show, I needed to order something I could finish. The appetizer portion of their signature cannelloni was the perfect size and delicious. It was fun to see the famous caricatures on the walls, very few of which I recognized immediately. The servers all accommodated the fact that I had a 7:30 curtain. If I had one suggestion, it would be that they expand their wine lust. They've got a great menu of specialty cocktails, but not much in terms of wine by the glass, and the sangiovese I had was just okay.

    Dinner at Sardi's is our after-theatre tradition, and our dinner last night reinforced why. We love the ambiance, the comfort of the seating, the ambiance (lively but you can actually have a conversation without straining to hear), and the delicious food. Best of all is the staff--so professional, attentive, and friendly. Can't wait to go back!
