Food was good and the service great. I was no not expecting to be charged for water though, maybe is it a local thing? Also the baguette from the menu it’s just bread and butter, nothing special

Sadly, not my favorite. I thought the space was beautiful. I had read so many great reviews and was excited to go, but everything was just so-so. Nothing was terrible, but nothing was great. Maybe because it was a Sunday night? Disappointing.

I booked Sassafraz for a business lunch, and it was absolutely perfect! Attentive service, excellent food options for my vegan guest, and everything was delicious and promptly served. I love the decor, comfortable seating, bright and spacious dining room. A gem in Yorkville!
