   Satay House lives up to the hype, the space is cosy, the food is delectable, the staff is knowledgeable, the loos are clean and modern… I had an all ‘round excellent experience. I will say, though, that the wine is overpriced for what it is, so I didn’t get any. But to be fair, I wasn’t expecting to have alcoholic beverage options at a Halal restaurant, so ::shrug:: I wasn’t too phased. And I’m glad I was completely sober while experiencing the food :)

   Absolutely lovely place with fantastic food. The Nasi Goreng was superb, and they even toned down the spices for me as I can't tolerate much. I am still dreaming about the chicken wings starter. They were extremely kind to our small children, and our waiter was funny, attentive and kind. Really great ambience. Will definitely return!

   I am doing the owner a favour to inform that the people you hire does not have the intention to provide a service that invites customer to return to your business. We were overcharged for a very tiny amount that would be embarrassing to argue, yet dishonest and intentional enough to give us a bad impression of the place. We served ourselves beverages, wine, and food the whole time but was asked whether we would like to tip. I should be paid for doing your worker’s job. Food was not considered authentic unless you as a Malaysian thinks msg means Malaysian. With this price point, your ingredients are below expectations and restaurants in the same area within the same price range is providing more. It is hard to find an Asian restaurant that provides decent ambiance like yours, and I would hate to see businesses like yours fade out because of bad service, overcharging and a few missing prawns.
