   I hadn’t been to a Scoma’s in years. I was very disappointed. We were seated at a table that was so close to the next table that a woman at that table was close enough to ask us to see our menu. We had to ask for water. We had to ask for bread. When the bread was delivered it was a day old and not warm. When we asked if they had warm bread, they brought over smaller pieces of bread that had been cut and heated in a microwave.. when they delivered that they took the larger pieces of bread we were eating off the table. We asked to share a salad and it was delivered in a sliver of a dish that was too small to cut our beets without putting the salad on the table. We ordered scallops that came with masked potatoes and broccolini. The scallops had an orange sauce on top that did not add much to the scallops that were well prepared. The broccolini was well cooked and the potatoes were tasty. The waiters were very nice but did not remove dishes when they were empty until both people were finished eating. We had cappuccino which was good. When we entered we had to walk through an area which was where they cut bread and the servers ordered food from the kitchen. It seemed not hygienic to do this. The food was pricey and there was a great view. No Valet parking. Also beet salad was made with a vinegar that was not the best quality. I will not go back.

   You can’t beat Scoma’s in Sausalito for delicious seafood, wonderful views of the Bay, great service and - in my experience- happy and fun clientele. You’re across the street from some lovely shops, so an après tour around the block is very enjoyable.

   Food was good even the bread I wish they gave the left over away but they took ours.
