   It's not my first time at SeaFire grill but is always great food and service. Anything seafood is generally very good. Its expensive but you'll have a great meal.

   If you want to impress, take your date or business colleague here! I've been three times now and the food is consistently outstanding across the whole menu. I am from Boston, so my standards for a seafood restaurant are high. Many places in NYC don't make the cut, but Sea Fire clears the bar easily. I recently had lunch there for the first time and the prix fix deal was worth a special trip. A good value by Manhattan standards, and all five dishes my party had were great. I tried the steak for the first time and was surprised to find that it was as good as any I've had at the nearby famous steak houses. The grilled calamari appetizer was A+, as well. At this price point (normal for NYC, expensive for everyone else) I don't know where you can do any better. A no-brainer pick for business lunches or social dinners.

   Everything was fabulous! Service and food 5 stars! Seabass was delicious ! Only negative was large group of men, obviously expense account, drinking and so loud, hard to have a conversation.

   My husband and I decided to try Sea Fire Grill based on a recommendation from a friend. We made a reservation for 5 PM via OpenTable before heading to a Broadway show at 7 PM. When we arrived, there were a few tables occupied, but it wasn't too busy. The hostess seated us at a table directly in front of the fireplace, which was perfect until they started seating other parties uncomfortably close to us. This was odd, considering there were plenty of other available tables. The proximity of the two parties made our dining experience less enjoyable due to the loud conversations surrounding us. Despite our efforts to tune them out, it was challenging. Initially, the service was good, but it declined as the night went on, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy. We started with a special appetizer: a large grilled prawn. While it was good, it lacked flavor and seasoning. For cocktails, we ordered an Old Fashioned and an Espresso Martini, both of which were pretty good. For our entrees, we decided to split the surf and turf, along with Brussels sprouts and lobster mac and cheese as sides. We requested our steak to be cooked medium; however, some parts were medium while others were medium-well. The seafood that accompanied the steak was flavorless, tasting as though it had only been blanched in water. On a positive note, the sides were quite tasty, with the Brussels sprouts being our favorite. Overall, our experience was a bit lackluster.

   The food was enjoyable, but I found the lobster-stuffed crab to be overpriced. While the menu listed it as “market price,” it ended up being $154 for a 2-pound lobster. Considering the crab portion was essentially a $29 crab cake, that means the lobster itself was $125, which felt a bit steep. Aside from that, everything else was wonderful. The atmosphere was pleasant, the service was excellent, and the noise level was comfortably low.

    Had lunch today at the Sea Fire Grill with several friends. Quite a lovely place with excellent service! I ordered salad, Branzino and tiramisu. My lunch mates also had salad, but they got salmon and cheese cake. In general, the food was quite good, except my fish had some bones.
