   I hadn't been to Selanne Steak Tavern in 3 years and was happy to get a reservation and take some friends that had never been. The experience in the past had always been very good. I ended up being embarrassed that I brought company to the restaurant and will not be back. The service was atrocious. Several times we had to flag people to help us because our server would disappear for large periods of time. At one point we witnessed an argument between our server and another that had stepped in on a couple of occasions. While I cannot be sure that it was related to our table, it sure seemed like it was. The food was inconsistent and definitely not as good as I remembered it to be. I was shocked by what had become of a restaurant that I held in high regard and regretful that I brought friends.

   Not what it used to be. Premium prices for so so food. Not going back. We used to love it. Servers couldn’t be nicer but even the service at the bar was lacking.

   Absolutely the best experience. My wife and i went to celebrate our anniversary. The service was impeccable. We were greeted at the door. The hostess greeted us and congratulated is on our anniversary. The server was awesome. At the end of dinner we were brought a hand written thank you card from the staff for our anniversary and a small dessert to celebrate. Going back for sure!

   We have been coming to Solanne for years and it has been consistently an excellent place to eat at for special occasions. We went there for my nephew's birthday and we both loved our dining experience at Solanne. We ordered their bread which was amazing and very fresh. Then we ordered scallops. They were large, luscious and so fresh along with cauliflower puree and some mushrooms. It was heavenly. We then ordered filet magnon and flat iron steak that came with mushrooms and a grilled miniature flat onion. The food was amazing and cooked just right. We will keep coming back. We highly recommend Solanne

   It was our first time visiting this restaurant, The food was excellent and our server Jay was great , made choosing our selection of food easy and funny. We were celebrating our birthday. The handwritten note at the end was perfect. Hopefully, next time we sit inside rather than patio.

   The food was absolutely fantastic — beautifully prepared and worth every bite. However, if you're planning a special, adult evening out, I'd recommend avoiding the earlier seating times. We had a 5:30pm reservation on a Saturday and were seated next to a family with young children. While I understand this at brunch or more casual settings, it did affect the ambiance I was hoping for during a celebratory dinner. Just something to keep in mind when choosing your reservation time!

    It was our first time at Selanne. Every single dish we ordered was delicious. The pepper and thyme loaf bread, carrots with lavender honey and goat cheese, Mac and cheese, my favorite - truffle risotto, filet mignon and ribeye, lemon tart for dessert. There wasn’t a single thing we didn’t like. Everything was amazing. Our server, Jay was great. We will definitely be back!
