   We had a reservation for 4, brought our twin 5 year old daughters, and had such a great experience. They don’t have a kids menu per se but will do a half serving of any adult plate for kids. Our girls each had half a lasagna. We loved the charred octopus appetizer, the nightly special ravioli, and the bolognese. The atmosphere is beautiful next to the canal. Overall more of an adult vibe but they were very welcoming and accommodating for our kids.

   Sat at a table on the outer rim and was swarmed by bugs. Otherwise everything was good.

   Even with reservation it took over 30 mins to be seated, though service was quick once seated. 3 out of the 6 dishes were overly salted / overly seasoned. Waitstaff is friendly and lovely as usual.

   I did not like the food , I asked for a chair to put my purse as our table was very small and they said they couldn’t do it when they had plenty of empty ones. The profiteroles were not made the Italian way. Drinks were ok. I would not come back or recommend it.

   Old customer of this place and honestly were shocked to see the amount of people that were there after our meal. Haven’t been back in a while because the food was so so and then they changed the owners a while back and then they didn’t carry any kind of wine that we liked more than just standard California stuff so we just didn’t go back. I thought I’d go back tonight and was very disappointed in our main dishes. I like snapper piccata was made like soup. My friend had a pasta dish that was made not even close to the way that this should be made. It was actually terrible. He had to re-order a second dish so he had something to eat. They didn’t offer to pay for anything after complaining about it And telling him why. Bottle of wine was outstanding. They finally got some good Italian red wine spent 300 wasted dollars in my opinion I wouldn’t go back in fairness. Maybe we ordered the wrong dishes but that never happens to us??? We eat out a lot Jeff H

   We hadn’t been to Serafina in about 15 years. It’s even better than before. Alessandra was delightful and her recommendations were perfection. Especially the Super Tuscan!! She had me at cacio e pepe with SHAVED BLACK TRUFFLES! The short rib ravioli in creamy mushroom sauce!! The largest serving of Tiramisu I’ve ever been served at a restaurant. There were too many excellent choices - so it will NOT be another 15 years before we return. The location on the water looking at yachts and sailboats is divine!

    A fantastic dinner. Food and service were fantastic. Sitting along the waterfront also offered a light show as we had front row seats to see the Musk starship fall to earth. But nothing could detract from the great dining experience. Our server was great. Thank you so much for a great evening.
