   We went to Skates for a birthday celebration. There were 5 of us and everyone enjoyed the outing. Food was excellent. We all ordered from the brunch menu. The view, of course, was outstanding. The wait staff were very attentive. I was very happy to see that it was so busy.

   The food is flawless. The delicious garlic bread is worth the splurge. My husband and I shared the Kung Pao calamari. This was the first time I had Asian style sweet calamari and it was seasoned to perfection. He had the filet mignon (I had one bite) which melted in my mouth like butter. We had to ask three times for more bread before our server brought it. To be fair to her, she was not the one who we asked initially. We had asked two food runners first.  I really wanted to dip the extra bread in the broth of my cioppino. I love the cioppino so much, in fact, I’ve never tried anything there that I did not like. We will definitely return for more special occasion dinners.

   Thank you so much for making our anniversary so special today! Wasnt your typical anniversary but it was definitely a special experience staff was excellent food was excellent and the cleanliness throughout the restaurant was fantastic! You blew us away today and I hope to to see you guys soon! It was a day to remember and glad we spent our memorable day at your restaurant! 5 stars all around. Appreciate everything keep up the hard work!

   Another wonderful evening with good food, attentive service, beautiful ambiance and a great, all-encompassing view of the sunset. We so look forward to visiting Skates on the Bay regularly!

   Brought our family here for the first time and they couldn’t believe they’d never known about this place. The view of the Golden Gate Bridge and SF skyline combined with the bay and all the sailboats, it was a perfect setting. Our server was so kind and attentive. The food as always delicious, especially the Ora Salmon and the BBQ shrimp. And the desserts are all tasty too.

   Excellent experience and joyful evening in all respects. Food was delicious, as usual. Service was outstanding. Brittany, our main server, was friendly and attentive. Whenever we needed something Brittany or someone else was right there! View was spectacular. We watched the sunset with the Golden Gate Bridge and other bridges in the background. A lovely evening!
