   The fried chicken, crab cakes, chopped salad, and carrot cake were delicious. The salted caramel ice cream that accompanied the carrot cake is house-made and the best we’ve ever tasted. Loved the cocktails, high ceilings, and all the brick. We sat upstairs which also provided a view of the cool clock on the street corner.

   Soby’s is one of our favorite restaurants. We love the atmosphere, the location, and the food is consistently great. We always recommend Soby’s to friends visiting from out of town.

   We were seated promptly at 1pm. Our order was taken very soon thereafter but we were not served our meal until 1:45. The bloody Mary came w/o some of the things listed on the menu. I ordered a fried green tomato eggs benedict but came w/o the green tomatoes. My wife ordered a chopped salad with seared shrimp. The salad looked old and the shrimp was not seared but just boiled. She sent it back for a grouper sandwich which came out after I had finished my meal. Very under par for what I am used to at Soby's through the years. I have never given a poor review. I will continue to go there as will my office continue to plan events at Soby's loft. Everyone has a bad day and thats the way I view it. The server was a great young man.

   We really enjoyed our brunch celebrating a great moment for our family. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was a solid 12/10. The only negative was that we had a reservation and still had to wait another 45 minutes after that reservation time. We had a toddler with us and picked our reservation time for specific reasons so that was frustrating.

   On a Girl’s weekend out we finished up at Soby’s for our final event. We did have a reservation and were promptly seated. Our server was lovely and checked on us without hovering. Our brunch was amazing, I had the fried chicken, we shared a sticky bun, the other girls had ricotta lemon French toast, crab cakes and fried green tomato eggs Benedict. We all shared bites of each dish, Soby’s did not disappoint. I highly recommend Soby’s!

   We dined with out of town guests and had a great experience. When our selection from the wine list was unavailable, the sommelier staff offered us an upgraded wine at the same price. It was exceptional! We really felt like the staff went above and beyond to make our evening outstanding.

   This is our "Nth" time at Soby's. We make it a no-brainer before every Peace Center show. This visit was no exception. My wife's standard is the crab cakes. I try to vary my choice between the filet and short ribs. Occasionally I'll try something different. My last visit I had the rack of lamb, which was tasty but too hard to carve up resulting in a mess on my plate and an unknown amount of meat. This current visit had the Venison replacing the lamb on the menu. This was truly a great choice,, absolutely excellent! Service is always prompt and courteous making one actually feel like a customer.. Imagine that. How many times have we visited another establishment and made to feel like we were preventing the server from his or her seat behind the counter.. If you're looking for a great meal with great service,, this is the place to go... Give it a try.

   Service was extremely slow have been several times and usually great service. Server came took drink order and came back again asking what we needed for drinks. Saw the server total of four times. The food is great as always just service was the worst I have ever had there. Had to ask for refills and bread. Sobys is my favorite restaurant in Greenville this not typical and they had plenty of staff as well.

    Loved some of the new menu items - tuna tartare, halibut, venison and strawberry fields dessert! Great service by Sammi!
