Soby’s New South Cuisine is an eclectic blend of contemporary continental cuisine infused with traditional Southern ingredients, transforming old favorites into something fresh and new. The restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Greenville, in a renovated cotton mill built in the 1800s. The atmosphere is warm and energetic and the staff is well-trained to provide a fantastic dining experience for all of our guests. In addition, the wine list offers more than 500 selections and is a Wine Spectator Magazine award-winner regular.

Fantastic meal during Restaurant Week. Every course that came out was delicious. Great service as well. Maybe best salmon I have ever had. Brussel appetizer was amazing.

We have enjoyed several meals, many in front of a show at the Peace Center. We missed that on Sunday opening is at 4:30 rather than 5. We were pressed for time so we were a bit compressed. Service did well to meet our timing but dessert was too compressed Overall the food was excellent. We took some to go. We will be back.

First time here - went for restaurant week and everything was great. Loved the She crab soup and Isabella was a wonderful server. Close proximity to Peace Center and Sony’s also offers complimentary valet parking. Highly recommend!

Sobys is still consistently serving excellent, hot, fresh, delicious food. From the appetizers to the desserts they always hit it out of the park. We never tire of eating there and their Staff makes the experience fun and sets the tone for a great dining experience. The friendliness you’d expect in the heart of the South, done right every time!
