Soby’s New South Cuisine is an eclectic blend of contemporary continental cuisine infused with traditional Southern ingredients, transforming old favorites into something fresh and new. The restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Greenville, in a renovated cotton mill built in the 1800s. The atmosphere is warm and energetic and the staff is well-trained to provide a fantastic dining experience for all of our guests. In addition, the wine list offers more than 500 selections and is a Wine Spectator Magazine award-winner regular.

Our waitress was named Isabella and she was absolutely terrific and a delight! We had the crabcakes and the shrimp and grits and both were just wonderful. Very tasty! We’ll be back for many Sunday brunches.

I thought I ordered Blackened Grouper. But I got fish in a bowl with no flavor and disgusting pea puree. I did not like it at all. My husband loved his short ribs and the brie was really good. Server was very nice also

We thoroughly enjoyed our first experience at Sobys! Although it was extremely busy in Valentine’s Day the service was fantastic! The foood was fantastic and out server was very kind. Our desserts were a different twist but they were very good! We will be back!

Soby's never disappoints. The brussel sprouts were back on the menu which we had missed in our previous visit. The pheasant special was incredible. Will forever remain my wife and I's favorite restaurant in Greenville.
