    short rib capellini, lemon pasta and porkloin were amazing we also had the ricotta donuts, pistachio sauce was sooo good

    Sotto used to be my favorite restaurant in Cinci. Did an early seating this week. If you are planning to valet, know it doesn’t start until 5. Upon arrival, the hostess was rude and told us we had to forfeit our table and sit at the bar, siting we were late. We were 13 mins late. Their grace period is 15 minutes. I shared that we couldn’t find a parking spot and had planned to valet. I then showed her where I called 7 times trying to let them know we were going to be late and ask where we could park, but no one answered. Who knew valet wouldn’t be available? Anyway, the manager gave an apology for hostess’s behavior but it felt like lip service. The only saving grace was our waiter, who aimed to please, and the food. I didn’t enjoy being rushed through dinner but understand they are all about turning tables quickly. Overall, Sotto isn’t the same happy place it used to be. Food is still delicious but the hostess, Amaya, set such an unwelcoming tone that it left a sour taste. As a former frequent dining guest, I left unsure if I’d return.

    Sotto never disappoints. The goat cheese/honey antipasti is delicious and the breaded pork loin melts in your mouth. We can't wait to come back.

    Nice on the inside and food was okay. Very heavy on the seasonings used on everything. Goat cheese bread and the doughnuts were the best. There are better Italian places to eat in Cincy.

    Waiting time was a bit long, like 15-20 minutes. There isn’t a waiting area, so you have to stand near the entrance. The place is very nice! Noise levels are high, so this could be a downside for some people. Service was phenomenal; everyone is very kind and helpful. The food is okay, not the best I’ve had. We will definitely come back and try other dishes!

    We decided to eat here based on the open table reviews. The restaurant is located below ground level. The lighting is very dim. The service was excellent. The food portions were fairly small. I would consider this place to be a classic Italian restaurant. The menu was compact and precise.
