   We made reservations and found the restaurant was mostly empty. The food was very expensive and not great. Coconut shrimp was definitely from a box and it was not good. Server was fine, made no recommendations and seemed angry. Lobster was teeny tiny and the way it’s served it’s not easy to pull from the shell. Mahi was ok, didn’t care for blackened seasoning. Finally got the dessert and found it to be completely inedible. Stale, old and nasty. This place is a great place to watch the beach and people watch, maybe get a drink or two. Find another place to eat. We left hungry and broke. Won’t be returning.

   Cooks need a thermometer. Steak tough and undercooked vs order. Mahi was dry and overcooked. $7 for less than a single potato’s worth of mashed potatoes was stupid and the green dye in the marg to make it look special was gross.

   This is a perfect place for an excellent dinner and relaxing atmosphere! Shrimp Alfredo was the best we’ve had - love the sun dried tomato accent!! Wait staff was great. (Sorry, don’t remember her name, but she was great!)

   The location is nice, but we sat down and I saw a rat in the rafter above us. We should have run then, but since it was an outdoor venue I figured you would see things like that. I ordered the chicken well done. It was horrible. It was not even remotely well done. It would not have mattered it was horrible tasting. One of the workers came by and saw I was not eating and offered to get me some thing different. I got a salad which was fine. The same guy came by later and said the reason the chicken did not taste good was because I ordered it well done. NOPE! We ordered the Key Lime Pie for dessert and there was a piece of plastic in mine. So not a good experience.

   We were guests for dinner and very happy with our choice., The cocktails were superb and our meal very good. Probably not a,ways easy to get in but this was a Sunday in September and it was not too busy. This is outside under cover with a very relaxed atmosphere out by tge beach bar. This was what we were looking for. This is Key West after all. Kt Venice fl

   Poor service and low quality of food. When pasta dishes came out, it was obvious that they had been sitting under a heat lamp because they were burned and dry on the top. Drinks were mixed poorly. The only thing that is. Ice about this restaurant is the view of the water. Will not return.

   For our last night in Key West we dined here. The view was fabulous. The service was excellent. Our mojitos were full of fresh mint & limes. So far, so good! My husband had pork tenderloin and grilled asparagus. Both were absolutely delicious. I ordered a salad that had black cherries in it and added chicken. The description never mentioned the cherries were the type you’d put in a cocktail, not maraschino but still very syrupy and too sweet. I was expecting fresh black cherries, as the food here seemed pretty high end. My added on chicken was so dry I gave up trying to chew it. While my dinner was a big disappointment my husband’s was wonderful! I’d be willing to try again but I’d avoid the salads.

    Some of these reviews are asinine. You visit a restaurant and eat out in 90 degree heat, then complain about the noise of the fans, which are there to make people more comfortable? Food was very good, as expected. Conch Fritters and Seafood Diavolo were excellent. Ambience was beautiful - a nice mild night with a nice breeze coming in off the water. Service was superb. We had just arrived in Key West after a 1,600 mile, 8-day drive from Michigan with previous stops in Lexington, KY for 1 day, Atlanta for 3 days, and Orlando for 3 days. Our server, Diane, was also originally from Michigan not too far from where we live. She was very prompt, and very friendly, recommending some of favorite things to do and places to visit. For the record, my wife and I have a combined 60+ yrs in the foodservice industry - front of house and back of house, and we can both attest that being in the weeds is definitely NOT a "frame of mind". We are here for 9 more days, so we will definitely return and will definitely request her as our server again.
