   This is a long unfiltered post but should be reviewed before you spend the $$$. Sadly, the only thing we enjoyed was the breathing views. We waited months for our anniversary reservation and the pictures of the food looked so yummy! We had two servers (one in training) and still the visits were few and far between. A bunch of staff was standing around, but the gentleman that took our dirty plates was the only one paying attention. Drinks went empty (and we waited a while to get our 1st drink), no pepper even came close to our table, no eye contact with us to just "check in". About the food...... we placed all the orders at one time and asked that they would be spaced out. Got the salad before the appetizer, different but no problem. Table bread.... someone needs to tell folks you are putting mustard in your butter. I smothered my bread with it and took one bite and nearly spit it out. Caesar salad with some type of odd flavored wheat croutons and (way too soft) butter lettuce, not romaine. Appetizer was pork belly.... guys, really? There was no crisp on the top as described to us. Just a jello-like pork belly swimming in some kind of ginger soy sauce. Yuck. My husband ordered wild game and was cooked perfectly! I ordered sea bass and the top was crisp (yay!) But someone decided to ruin it with coarse salt, so every time I took a bite, it felt as if I was chewing into sand. Otherwise fish was good. Sides were mushrooms (truly no seasoning at all) and mashed potatoes. Obviously we skipped dessert because we felt the money we just sank into a underrated mediocre meal was enough. Won't be back to that restaurant but we will try another one there.... hoping for better results next time.

   We had an absolutely unforgettable experience at the Sunset Terrace. From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Erin was our server and she was truly phenomenal—attentive, warm, and made us feel genuinely celebrated. We started with the tomatoes and the French onion soup, both of which were delicious and full of flavor. For our entrées, my friend had the steak, and I tried the elk for the first time—easily one of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten. The sides were just as impressive, and the drinks were perfectly crafted. We were celebrating our birthdays, and the team went above and beyond by surprising us with complimentary champagne and sweet treats. Add to that the stunning view, and it was truly a perfect evening. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

   Outstanding service from Michael and he could not have been more helpful with a dietary need (Gluten free). Great RibEye steak and chicken, we would order the same thing again. Cocktails were perfectly done. Even a down pour was exciting without a drop on us. Ate here 7 years ago with a large group and it keeps getting better.

   While it wasn’t the restaurant's fault, the rain during our reservation certainly had an impact on our experience. I have to give credit where it’s due: the service was excellent, and the setting was truly unique. However, I felt the food was a bit on the pricey side. Be prepared to spend at least $150 per person for what I would describe as average hotel restaurant fare.
