Always feel welcomed here. A neighborhood favorite of mine. Great to come alone or with friends. Food consistently good!! Love the lychee nut martinis!

It was a crowded evening there, so the service was a little slow, but the staff was very pleasant and apologetic. I don’t think they were expecting to be so busy. Food and drinks were great for the NYC prices. Would go back!

This is our go to Japanese restaurant near Lincoln Center. It’s highly reliable: fresh ingredients, decent (but not overly large) size portions, nice atmosphere, and very good service.

We go to Sushi Damo frequently and it is consistently good. We ordered edamame and pork gyoza appetizers, I had the 8 piece sushi entree with California roll and my husband got the chicken katsu curry rice bowl. Everything was delicious. Personally, I thought the rice bowl was a little over-sauced, but my husband was happy with it. We were so appreciative that they read my note in the reservation and held a table by the window for us. It is a relatively small dining room and to reserve that table for us on a Saturday night was so nice!

Neighborhood find. Large, pleasant and less noisy than expected, with excellent sushi and service. A bit pricey, but average for this neighborhood. I'd return, and recommend it.

Fresh and reasonably priced. We had a platter for 2 of sushi sashimi and nigiri. Was very good and the portion size for 2 people was also great! Service was good and not over the top. Phew! Will be back!!
