Our meal was superb in every respect. The service was attentive and never hurried in any way. The ambience was just lovely; we sat in the courtyard and it was so relaxing. We will definitely be back and will recommend it to our family and friends as well. Thank you for such an enjoyable evening!

This was a delightful walk into the graciousness of the past. Lovely ambience and great food. Kindly service. The noise level was very loud in the bar. Had I agreed to meet folks there, I would have probably turned away. But the restaurant noise was more manageable, and we were able to converse fairly well. I will return.

We sat at the bar rather than a table and had a great experience with bar tender staff. The Red Drum with black eyed peas was delicious and a real treat.

We were visiting DC for the first time. Got lucky and was able to get a brunch reservation on Mother's day for my wife. We had a wonderful experience. Food, drinks and service were top notch. Snagged some donuts for the plane ride home that evening. We will definitely go back if we get to DC again.

Best brunch in DC. Quality of food was spectacular. The donuts, the deviled eggs, and shrimp and the grits were stellar. Miriam's service was outstanding. We'll be back soon.

The food and ambiance at the Tabard Inn were as delightful as ever, but unfortunately, the service was unusually slow and disorganized during our visit. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed, leading to long waits for drinks, food, and even the check. Thankfully, the manager stepped in to smooth things over with a complimentary round of drinks. Despite this off night, we still appreciate the Tabard Inn and look forward to dining there again under better circumstances.
