    We have been to the Tavern several times and always enjoyed our visit. Today however, things were a bit off. I don’t know if it was because of restaurant week or what. The hostess was somewhat curt with us and didn’t like the fact I wanted a normal dining table instead of a high top. We then waited several minutes (after our reservation) while other parties that came in after us were seated at tables ahead of us. We finally had to ask about being seated after being skipped multiple times. After seating, we had to wait a while before a server approached us. The server was pleasant but clearly overwhelmed with her workload. Overall this trip was a disappointment. I don’t know when we might consider another visit.

    Great variety in menu, always great for a quick bar bite but has plenty on entrees for it to be a dinner go to

    We had our wonderful waiter "Chad"- who remembered us from last time!!! He is friendly, knowledgeable, & just the right amount of choking in with us!!! Our food was AWESOME!!! Since we were celebrating my Birthday, the Donuts were Oustanding!!!! I'll say it again, My Favorite Place to Celebrate!!!!!!
