   This was one of the worst dining experiences ever. First beware that the menu on the website is not the menu during the “off season”. They have a very limited menu. The service was atrocious and slow. After 1 hour we’d had a crab cake and water. Had to ask for our drinks twice. Waiter failed to mention the 1 of the 3 specials to us. I got the pork chop and it was awful. Not even edible. They did take it off the bill. My wife ordered the steak special and our waiter did not tell us it was meant to be shared by two. He just let her order and never mentioned it. She didn’t eat 1/4 if it. What an over priced, over popularized restaurant with horrible food and service.

   We had a wonderful meal! Our server was fantastic and the food was delicious. Plenty to accommodate our group of 4 that includes 1 shellfish allergy, 1 celiac’s disease, and 1 vegetarian.

   Beautiful place, the food rhe service were AMAZING!!! They made our anniversary dinner so special!!! Thank you for a magcal dinner! its a "must" anytime, any season, any celebration

   My friend and I had a lot of catching up to do so we settled in at a beautiful table by the floor to ceiling “windows” and had the most lovely evening. I had the short rib with mashed potatoes and my friend had the salmon. Both were expertly prepared and as delicious as anything I’ve ever had in NYC. Our service was outstanding, we were never rushed, and a couple of managers came around to be sure we were enjoying our meal. The legendary Tavern on the Green is legendary for a reason. I can’t wait to go back!!

   Delicious dinner in a lovely setting. Everyone knows Tavern on the Green and it lived up to its reputation. I will add that the dining room was noisy. But the attentive staff and beautiful surroundings made up for it.

   Our food was good. However, we sat in the dining room where you’re required to order an entrée and we were unaware of that. Apparently it is optional on some level however our waitress did enforce that role and so we ended up eating food we weren’t originally going to have. However, it was yummy. It’s amazing to be there. It was beautiful day. Our waitress overall was very good.

    Very friendly greeting , menu is a little limited but what we chose was really good . Our only negative was the fruit crumble desert was cold when we arrived and our waitress told us it was supposed to be cold …. We sent it back and did get a replacement which was wa and delicious
