   The wife and I come here every time we visit The City. Chill place. Food is great. Building is fantastic with great views. I recommend.

   Great to be back in this charming restaurant in Central Park. Ambience is lovely. Service was very nice. The brunch was very well prepared and the egg pizza was very good. We enjoyed being there again very much

   Great service. Egg frittata was excellent! My grandson didn’t care for the sauce on his chicken sandwich. Lots of chicken though!

   My cousins Joe and Mary from Ireland and I had such a lovely dining experience at the one and only Tavern on The Green in Central Park. From the time I entered, I was greeted by several hostesses and they were all so welcoming and nice. I brought them a box of chocolates to wig them a Happy New Year. They told me that my cousins had arrived and they would show us to our table. She sat us at a beautiful table overlooking the outside at 2:45pm. We loved the assorted breads with butter and jelly. I loved the vegetable chicken soup. My cousins loved the Scottish Salmon and Chicken Paillard salad. The service was amazing-our server was a young Asian woman. We also had a male worker (he hails from Senegal, Africa) that helped clear our table and he was so nice and friendly. Fabulous time today!

   What a wonderful birthday experience! We were made to feel special from the moment we stepped in the door. Food was delicious, and portions generous. The lemon chicken was a delight! Despite booking late we were allocated a fabulous table, and the small treats for my partners birthday really was the cherry on top. A lovely experience on a cold and sunny day in Central Park!     Excellent! We have lived our whole lives in the NYC Metro Area and have never been to Tavern on the Green. I was wondering if it would be too touristy but it was fantastic. We celebrated my wife’s 40th birthday with lunch and our waiter Chris was great: attentive and prompt without being overbearing. The food was impeccable and the dining room was amazing. We would definitely go back.
