This may not necessarily be a 5 star restaurant on this app but we had a great experience, great service and our food was good so I’ll call it like I experienced it.

Server was pleasant enough but never took our drink order or ask us if we wanted dessert. The side quinoa on one dish was too salty & we were offered a side salad by our server as a makeup. When asked if there had been any compensation for the salty dish, our server said “we’re not charging you for the replacement side salad.” The food was just fair. Would not return.

Staff were friendly and a busy restaurant means you are in a place that clearly is making great food! Be sure to book a table in advance so you aren’t waiting for a table as the Tavern is popular. As a paraplegic, they were able to provide a table and there’s also accessible restroom facilities for both Male/Female.

I loved the food and the ambiance. I didn’t give the service 5 stars because they were super busy and flustered by it. Other than that, the waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable. The poke bowl is not to be missed.

This restaurant seems nice. We ate here apres ski outdoors and had a nice time with no expectations. When eating dinner that we had a reservation for, our expectation was higher and sadly the reviews didn't live up to what we received. In both cases, the servers had waaaay too many tables. For apres ski, we asked for a to-go box but eventually left without it because we got tired of waiting. Drinks were often not refilled when needed. Food was slow and came out separately. Outdoors all our food was good. Indoors, I had the tuna bowl which came highly recommended by our server. My overall impression was "eh." It seemed like they were trying too hard to do a 5 star tuna bowl with little flavor, tuna that had almost no flavor and tased a little frozen, way too much rice that was so sticky I couldn't break it apart, though the seaweed salad tasted nice. I wish I'd ordered something else. Food did not come all at once. The kitchen was clearly slammed and service was compromised because of this. My daughter asked for a plain steak with parmesan on it. They forgot the parmesan and the steak looked less like a rib eye and more like a sirloin (flat and only about 3/8" thick, no marbling). They managed to do a good job on the pb&j's... Overall impression is that we might come here again for apres ski but not dinner. We feel for the staff who are clearly overworked and don't have enough help. But for $30-50/person, we expect better service and better food.

Spent NYE here for 2024-2025! We had a lovely time. They had live music and and great food! Overall service was very good and we would absolutely recommend.

An early New Year’s Eve dinner at Tavern on the Square was great. The food was very good. The service was excellent. We did not feel rushed. The vibe was still in transition from apres ski and we were seated at a high top so it felt a little more bar and grill than nice dinner but the food and service overcame that.
