Came here for brunch with my mom and Aunt and who are very picky eaters and they absolutely LOVED everything! The GF pancakes were fluffy and delicious, and I had the fried chicken sandwich which was honestly perfect. The rooftop is beautiful, we were all very happy!

I had the $50 Dine Around Seattle meal. The portions were si small, about 5-6 T of nettle soup, a tiny tiny piece of Salmon in a little bit of potato puree and two thin slices, wafers really, of Manchego cheese. We left almost as hungry as we came and had to go elsewhere to eat and feel satiated. I am not sure if I selected poorly but the meal was NOT WORTH THE MONEY ($50 + tax+tips for this stingy meal) and, even though we eat out a lot, we are not going back to Terra Plata. Too bad, it was a decent place when Ms. Murphy was running it.

1 of us selected the Restaurant Week menu and the other three selected from the full menu. Shishito Peppers app was so flavorful. The beets - meh. Nothing special. We prepare them more tasty at home. Roasted Chicken (2) and Albacore Crudo were fab! Basque cheesecake - yum! Great, attentive service. Love TP!

We went on Paella night (Monday) during Seattle Restaurant Week for a fixed price 3-course menu at $50/person. We, a party of two, ordered shishito peppers (too spicy hot for us!), lettuce gem salad with goal cheese ad apple, maristo paella, roast pig, flan and cheesecake to share. Food came out piping hot (a sign of a good restaurant). The paella was the best that I have had so far across continents. The generous portions of seafood was cooked just right and the rice was piping hot. The roast pork was tasty. The desserts were amazing, especially the kumquat caramel glaze on the flan. We paired our meal with two glasses of Oregon pinot noir. Everything was perfect! Oh, the service was also great!

Terra Plata has a nice atmosphere and solid menu, but overall, the experience was just okay. The food was good, but nothing stood out as particularly memorable. We started with the olives, which were fine, but they had pits and no designated spot to put them. A small thing, but a strange oversight. The Brussels sprouts had a nice maple twist, though nothing mind-blowing. The fries were okay—crispy but forgettable. At least they appeared to be made fresh at the restaurant. The broccolini had an interesting cilantro dressing, which helped add a bit more flavor. One of the more frustrating parts was the baguette. It didn’t show up until after all the other food, and when it did, it was cold. What restaurant doesn’t warm their bread before serving? It felt like an afterthought. The highlight was the churros—crispy, warm, and satisfying. If anything, I’d return for dessert, but overall, Terra Plata didn’t leave a lasting impression.
