   The salad bar was nice and well put together, although not as large a selection as in the early days of the restaurant. The “meat runners”, however, paid no attention to the cards on the table which indicated whether one was ready for a meat selection or not. I barely sat down to start eating my salad when I was inundated with them (most of who spoke very little English) offering me multiple meats. Am not sure why TDB’s default is to serve most of their meats rare, however, some of the selections barely looked cooked. The meat carvers were careless with their slicing, both splashing meat juice and blood all over my husband’s shirt, with the worse thing being that they continued to touch my plate with the tip of the skewer each time they slid the meat off. All I could think of was how many other patrons plates they had touched and how badly this restaurant cross-contaminates their patrons plates with this type of carelessness. Actually came home sick, and needless to say will not go back, nor could I recommend this restaurant to others. Also extremely over-priced. Bad experience, but live and learn.

   This is a yearly tradition for our wedding anniversary every 31Dec. We have never been disappointed! Highly recommend it!

   TdB is the ultimate American buffet experience. They literally bring the buffet to you. Our waiter was fantastic, helped to make our evening dining out special, and was always attentive to keep the food coming, the drinks re-filled, and provided good insight on dessert options. If you have an opportunity to eat here, it’s a great experience, provided you enjoy a variety of meats seasoned in different ways.

    We were there Christmas evening, so our experience may not be typical. We arrived about 15 minutes early, and they seated us about 10-15 minutes late, which wasn't bad. We waited at the bar, which was not crowded. The bartender appeared to be prioritizing table drinks ahead of customers at the bar, so we had a 15-20 minute wait before we were even asked for our drink order. Same for the couple next to us. Once we were seated, we had probably a 10 minute wait before our server came to take our drink order. After that he was very attentive. As usual, enough food (appetizers?) was provided to the table to almost make a meal in itself: cheese rolls, french fries, fried plantains, and mashed potatoes. I had the buffet only. The lobster bisque and smoked salmon are always great, and there were plenty of vegetables, soups, and salad fixings to choose from. My husband had the full churrasco experience, and enjoyed all the meats. Overall a good experience.
