The Bauer Kitchen is an energetic up-market 'bistro' set in a SoHo inspired, restored felt factory.

Chef Katherine Therriault & Chef Riley Smith have assembled a spectacular menu of classic items prepared with the freshest local ingredients. An extensive ‘wine by the glass’ menu has been created by our sommelier to pair perfectly with each menu item.

                                                              We went for brunch to celebrate a #80 birthday. Our reservation request for a comfortable booth was honoured, cosy and a bit out of traffic area. Hostesses were friendly and efficient, Devin our waiter was just great. He was very friendly and did his job very well. 👍👍 Great coffee service, great choices for breakfast on menu. All hot and tasty. Birthday guy given a choice of dessert and it was shared by all! Nice presentation. Fun watching kitchen staff doing their thing but surrounded by glass too. A great restaurant for all ages.

                                                              I was very disappointed because I have been here before. We have reservations for 7:30 and we orders drinks but did not get them until about 8:20 and we orders our food didn’t get it until about 8:45. I orders a plant based burger it was a very dry bun no mayo or anything just literally the vegan patty and a little coleslaw. Our waiter almost dropped my daughter’s food on her she had to catch the plate to save it. To be honest so much more happened but overall it was a horrible night especially considering we were celebrating a birthday. It took the experience of joy out of it 😢

                                                              Bauer has been a recent favourite of ours. We have gone a handful of times in the last month. The food is fresh and delicious! Service is always amazing. We had Bryan today and he was attentive and accommodating to my very specific (and multiple) requests. The manager always checks in to make sure that everything is good.                                                               The food was delicious, which is always a pleasant surprise when a restaurant has a large menu and we all ordered different meals. The waiter was friendly helpful but also left us alone when we were talking and lingering a bit. It was a great place for dinner and we will definitely go back.
