A good, old restaurant with a solid reputation. The food is of a normal good standard, but nothing special. But the prices are top notch. The service is acceptable. The relatively inexpensive wine we ordered from the wine list was not available, and we were not offered another wine at the starting price.

Although well-known for seafood, we enjoyed the Lamb Shank cooked to perfection, with the tastiest Polenta. This is a winner!

Our server was very tolerant of a difficult family situation that came up while we were at the table. Unfortunately, due to a delay, my fish was overcooked, but I do not blame the kitchen for that. It was a consequence of the complexity of our situation. As I say, our server was extremely helpful and patient with us and I give her the highest marks for helping us get through our challenges. I look forward to the next time at the cannery.
