   We always celebrate our birthdays and anniversary at Capital Grille in Costa Mesa. The food is always spectacular, drinks are perfect, and the service is wonderful. Never ever once in many many years of dining here have we ever had anything but a perfect evening out!!!!! Thanks Capital Grille for your outstanding efforts every single time we dine here!!!!

   Jasmine was a wonderful server and helped us pick our menu for our special celebration. We started with cosmos and ordered the specially prepared filet mignon and double rack of lamb. We started with the lobster bisque, which was so delicious with large chunks of lobster and added lobster, asparagus, risotto, and garlic Parmesan broccolini to our menu. Jasmine surprise us with a special dessert for our celebration. We have been coming to capital Grille for many years and their service and culinary expertise always meet our high expectations.

   The ribeye steak was absolutely delicious! My wife and I shared a French onion soup, a beet salad, mashed potatoes, a ribeye steak, and a slice of cheesecake. It was an incredible meal.

    We sat in the bar for Capital Grille's Wagyu & Wine. The hostesses were okay; they weren't particularly engaging or friendly. They were a bit flat in their welcome. However, the bar staff appeared happy to see us, and we are not regulars, so that was both refreshing and welcoming. They took our orders and anticipated our needs; the service was top notch. The food, as always, delicious. We love CapGrille for the adult laid-back ambiance, friendly service and good food. The hostesses/kids, could use some instruction and learn & watch from the experienced front of house.
